Seeing the Pattern Is the First Change

Seeing the Pattern Is the First Change

I used to think change started when you finally did something different. I'm not sure it does. Maybe it starts when you finally notice what you keep doing. The same reaction. The same kind of situation. The same move afterward. And suddenly you think: oh, I do that a lot.

What triggered it, what I did, what I got from doing it, and what happened afterward.

Try making the sequence visible. Take one thing that keeps happening and write: what triggered it, what I did, what I got from doing it in the moment, what happened afterward. Don't try to fix it yet. Just put the sequence somewhere outside your head.

Because once you can actually see the pattern, you can start seeing where you might interrupt it. And that's a very different starting point from: "what's wrong with me?"

Ori looks at your past to see your pattern — not to hold it against you, but to reveal it to you. There are two kinds of patterns: a hidden pattern is the one you haven't spotted yet, still running quietly underneath your choices. A recognition pattern is the moment it becomes visible — when you finally see it clearly enough to do something different. Ori's job is helping you move from one to the other. People repeat themselves more than they think. Almost nothing happens only once.

Ori is weyoga's AI — it helps you see the patterns behind your choices, before they repeat again. If you want to break your pattern, talk to Ori → try it free
