That Feeling? It's Not Proof He's Right for You.
You know what some men fall for? Not just the woman — the way she makes them feel. When a guy really wants to feel loved, chosen, desired, and someone comes along who gives him exactly that, he's hooked. She's texting him, making him feel wanted, making him feel like the most incredible man alive. And he's thinking: finally, someone gets me. That's exactly why you have to slow down.
And before this reads as a "him" problem — you do this too. Sometimes someone figures out exactly what makes you feel wanted. You want affection? They're incredibly affectionate. You want reassurance? They give you reassurance. You want to feel chosen? You're basically getting a daily TED Talk on how incredible you are. You're not just falling for them. You're falling for the feeling.
Is the feeling real, or is the story you built around it?
Here's where it gets interesting. The feeling is real. But that doesn't automatically mean the story you're telling yourself about the person is true. You feel incredibly connected, and your brain starts filling in the blanks — he really gets me, this must be different, I've never felt this way before. And suddenly the intensity of the feeling starts becoming evidence about the person.
What are you actually responding to — the person, or what happens inside you when you're with them? If you keep getting intensely attached to people who make you feel incredible at the beginning and then disappear, change, or pull away, there may be a pattern there. Not because the feeling wasn't real. Because the feeling may have been telling you more about what you needed in that moment than about who this person actually was.
Sometimes the pattern isn't who you fall for. It's how quickly a feeling becomes a conclusion.
Ori looks at your past to see your pattern — not to hold it against you, but to reveal it to you. There are two kinds of patterns: a hidden pattern is the one you haven't spotted yet, still running quietly underneath your choices. A recognition pattern is the moment it becomes visible — when you finally see it clearly enough to do something different. Ori's job is helping you move from one to the other. People repeat themselves more than they think. Almost nothing happens only once.
Ori is weyoga's AI — it helps you see the patterns behind your choices, before they repeat again. If you want to break your pattern, talk to Ori → try it free
